Matilda Rose Cantwell is serves as chaplain and director of Religious and Spiritual Life at Smith College in Northampton Massachusetts, where she lives with her spouse, two sons, and small dog. She has also worked as a clinical social worker, community organizer, and youth pastor in a diverse rural church. She has been writing for as long as she can remember, and currently composes sermons, pastoral letters, poems and lists of things to do. Her interests include transformative justice, interfaith dialogue, religious pluralism,
and transporting her sons to soccer and track practices. She is an avid cyclist, an aspiring gardener, and an outdoors woman though she cannot read a map.
