Melody Joy Overstreet is a poet, artist, printer, weaver, and community educator. Her work has been exhibited locally as well as internationally, and has been featured in numerous publications inclusive of Loam Magazine, Seed Broadcast, Inverness Almanac, and The Philosopher. She was a recent Artist-in-Resident with the On Being Project, where she completed a book of place-based poems and illustrations titled, Reverberations. Melody is a recipient of a Gemological Award and a Peace Studio Fellowship for her ongoing work at the intersection of art, teaching, and land stewardship.
