Katya was born in Russia and grew up in Los Angeles, before moving to Boston to pursue their BA in International Affairs at Northeastern University. They have long been involved in the interfaith community at Northeastern University, and will be pursuing a MS in Environmental Science and Policy at Northeastern in 2021.
