Discrimination is what Blacks been facing for years.
\nTaking the lives of young Black men got us all in tears.
\nRecidivism is at an all time high for a Black man.
\nThe government don\u2019t insist on designing a rehabilitative plan.
\nThey want to continue to enforce Jim Crow laws to keep us bound.
\nWe have to show unity with Black Power, and be determined to stand our ground.
\nWe face all types of obstacles in the land of the free.
\nBlack people have been lied to for centuries, and that\u2019s obvious to see.
\nBlack women being raped by their slave owners, sabotaging the Black race.
\nThen for them to say that we\u2019re not a part of America, is such a disgrace.
\nWe have to rise above all the assassinations.
\nAnd continue to strive to give our kids the best education.
\nTeach them about the laws and the government that\u2019s political.
\nThe way they can maneuver through situations, when they get critical.
\nVote or Die \u201cPuff Daddy\u201d said it a long time ago.
\nIf we don\u2019t come together, \u201cHow will we continue to grow?\u201d
\nWe must vote for the one that will increase our chances at success.
\nRather than vote for the ones that get into office, only to finesse.
\nWe need a leader that can lead us in this promised land.
\nAnd that could provide us a way for every woman, child and man.
\nBlack America; Whie America; Brown America; we all need to come together, and show humanity.
\nGod sees us all as one, regardless of our nationality.
\nGovernment and police officer’s shouldn\u2019t show racism and brutality.
\nWe as people have the voices to vote; or face reality.
\nI believe voting can make a change.
\nIf we choose not to, it will only stay the same.
\nOur Ancestors have shed blood, sweat and tears.
\nOnly to be denied the right to vote years upon years.
\nSee me, I\u2019m fed up with this, one sidedness and this lack of having success.
\nThis is something I must confess, because Blacks are still being oppressed.<\/p>\n
